Welcome to the Agglomeration
With the new year comes inevitably new poems. Like last year they will be of varying and in many cases dubious quality. It seems apt to begin 2010 with Post 101 though so begin 2010 with Post 101 I shall. Here's my first poem of the year, fellow Agglomerators. Have a great year, everyone!
Dusk
Swallowing stillness
the encore that holds no refrain
in the ambiguity of black sheep
counting fireflies.
Tortuous intuition is woven down
the silent hill through the
padded grass mattress and its
border with the rock people.
Creeping tendency to flush the
ravines with acid reign,
their dictatorships are gone by dawn,
leaving no trace but the first
beginnings of mothball.
The sedaned couple relish the
subdued tacitity after their play
as the last tint of eventide
wafts into the midnight air down by
the overpass.
Till next time, may you agglomerate all your unpremeditated contemplations.

"Acid reign" is the awesomest phrase ever. Lowell would be proud. This is probably your best work for a while, in my opinion.
