Welcome to the Agglomeration

Due to popular demand I am going to write one of those Ngiammesque or Ximesque daily recounts despite my being adamant that my life isn't all too interesting, but I guess if they're doing it and getting massive amounts of views and comments to boot, I suppose it's time I take a page out of the pragmatic theory of truth book and realise that occasionally it's important to do something you don't want to just because other people will like it more. So here goes:

Period 1 - An interesting German period where I chimed in to 3 year 10 seshes (more they chimed into my sesh), sitting there twiddling my thumbs, thinking about nothing special in particular - well...not exactly but that's unimportant - and waiting for my turn to do some speaking. After that we retired to W2 where we talked about culture and similar sorts of things. Not a bad start to the day at all.

Period 2 - A really fun English lesson primarily due to the fact that we didn't do English. Our teacher apparently only remembered a few minutes before the class that he had some rather important Year 12 assessment supervision to be doing, so he left us in the room to read with no substitute teacher. These woefully wishful considerations were swiftly cast aside whilst most of my classmates decided to either engage in some Mario Kart competition or do homework for other subjects. Deciding that nothing in N9 would really interest me, I decided to go with my eager friend Daniel to the Music Department - the sanctuary for all refugees fleeing immense boredom - we found a room - and luckily for him, an amp - and decided to improvise the 40 minutes away - resulting in some interesting combinations of Rachmaninov, heavy metal, Draculaesque and Stairway to Heaven.

Recess + Period B - Nothing much - just catching up with some of my HSC friends whom I don't get to see as often as I would like anymore. The only thing I really hate about the IB, I guess - except it's as much their fault for not doing it.

Period 3 - Latin was a standard mark and translate sesh. Nothing overly exciting.

Period 4 - Hilarity ensued during a humourous discussion about lockdown procedures because of a lockdown drill we're going to have tomorrow. Mr. Pyne described avidly the History Departments' revised strategic plan where a decoy runner would be sent to distract said intruder(s) whilst the rest of the staff constructed a phalanx of soldiers and confronted the gun-toting assailant(s). Laughing quite hard, my laughter doubled when an unnamed classmate (shouldn't be too hard to guess considering I'm in a class of 3) decided to ask the question 'Are you serious?' I love History.

Lunch - Music Photos. Nothing Special.

Period 5 - Chemistry: Episode 3 of a Kinetics Prac Quadrilogy. Notable events included Chem-ace William Ngiam manning Datastudio Graph Command, Chem-Praccer John Drummond assuming gofer duties as well as some stunning colorimeter lid manoeuvring, and myself, Chem-Failure handling sodium thiosulfate and HCl. Unreliable results followed. Then the second part of the lesson saw a stupid blunder from myself allowing a beaker of Sodium Thiosulfate floating in a larger beaker of ice and water to submerge, ruining the experiment for about 5 minutes. We didn't end up getting either part complete because of poor time management, to which I can only blame our Chem-Draconiannazi (Godwin's Law) teacher.

Period 6 - TOK - Finishing our Natural Sciences topic, I was quite bored by the 'summary' of material we'd covered many many times before. Eager for new content, I amused myself by playing with a water bottle and its lid - affirming my status as a psychopathic kleptomaniac, albeit a witty one, when our class took ten minutes to explain to another unnamed classmate quite a simply joke that goes like this:

What does DNA stand for?
National Dyslexic Association

We were appalled to be repeatedly greeted with the remark that National Dyslexic Association in actual fact acronymised to NDA. *facepalm*

Also quite a literally proficient friend of mine completely disintegrated today coming up with the 'geliocentric' and something else that escapes me at the moment. What was it again William?

Fencing - Pioneer Cup Round of 16 and Quarterfinals today. Won my first bout 15-6 and my second bout 15-9. This ensures I'm in the top 4, alongside Duncan, Ben and Shakti, and I have to face my archnemesis Duncan in an epic grudge match tomorrow. I'll probably get smashed. Yeah, I'll get smashed.

That's about it really. Awesome rest of the week coming up.

Wednesday: Senior Prefect Interview, Lockdown, Photos, Pioneer Cup Finals, Debating Training, Surviving the IB/HSC

Thursday: Philosothon! Gonna be so awesome

Friday: Final Debate of the GPS Season against Kings - Come support the 2nds! We'll really appreciate it, although I know no one will because you're all lazy.

That's it. Hope you all appreciate this novelty recount, because I sure as hell won't be looking to doing it again any time soon.

Till next time, may you agglomerate all your unpremediated contemplations
