Welcome to the Agglomeration

Well I can safely say the the finale of the Transcriber was a huge success. Out of the 5 people that I know read it, two haven't because they haven't got around to it, one has and doesn't get it, the other has but won't tell me what he thinks about it and the other's computer is firewalling her from being able to access it.

Now for a return to my more preferred medium of poems, although I am thinking through another short story in my mind at the moment. More on what will happen with this idea at a later stage.

Did Someone Say...

Stately in the Peruvian clime,
the daily afternoon climax
seems over all too soon.
It starts with a wreath and
finishes with a wraith with
nothing in between but
the wrath of scorpions and
cinnamon disinfectant.

Politics always excels in
being that elephant
which all in the room
proceed to stab with kitchen straws
with some feeble aim to draw blood,
and failing that a cloud monster.

When the leaves have settled,
the tea simmers over, burning
the hands but leaving the fingers
to the army-trained professionals
of retired school teachers and
one-legged athletes.

The coming together of these people.
That resembles
